Thought I'd pass this picture of my wife, Patti Michailoff, a Fish Sniffer reader and avid fisherman from Turlock, CA. We spent the week down in Baja at Punta Colorada and on July 17, the 2nd day at 8:10 in the morning, she hooked into this Marlin for a 45 minute fight. This was her first marlin and the first of 3 that we were to catch in 3 days there. I was spellbound by the amount of time the fish spent tailwalking during the fight. We had a wonderful time and met a lot of nice people while fishing on the Pargo from that resort.
I think of all the pictures I have of her fishing the 2nd picture of her in the fighting chair shows the determination she had in taking the fish. I am indeed a lucky man to have such a great partner to fish with! Mike and Pat Michailoff |
