Read our Current Fishing Report
I have been fishing for 20 years in the northern California region. Lake Berryessa and Lake Sonoma are two of the lakes I know best. I do have lots of experience at most of the lakes in California which host Kokanee Salmon. I fish 2 different derbies during the summer, C.I.F.F.I. and Kokanee Power which support our Kokanee, Salmon, King Salmon, Rainbow Trout & Brown Trout population. The money raised from these tournaments and derbies goes directly to the DFG for support of the hatcheries to raise the eggs collected by volunteers of both of these organizations to insure that there will be fishing in the future for our kids and generations after that. I am a big fish hunter and that is my passion, but I will never pass down a fight with a Kokanee Salmon. My knowledge has helped me become a well balance guide will to help you have the best experience you can possibly have by catching fish and learning about them at the same time. Lakes are my primary targets for fishing, but my specialty is deep water trolling with downriggers and ultra light gear to maximize your pleasures battling Trout & Salmon.
