My last day searching for the elusive King I fished with John, the lodge owner, and Rod, the chef. Rod got this 28" ling to hit one of the salmon spoons we were trolling near First Beach on the Pacific Ocean side of Ferrer Point. The ling came 40' up off the bottom to grab the spoon. Again plentiful coho made for a very good day fishing.
