Hi Fish Sniffer, I finally landed the big one! in our local creek on the afternoon of September 14.

Earlier in day I got spooled while drop shotting a roboworm in the same spot, so I rode my bicycle back home, refilled my reel and returned to try again, after fishing for nearly an hour, I hooked up and the fight was on, she put up a good battle for quite awhile, when I finally got her up onto the bank, I noticed a small crowd was cheering me on.

I made the quick ride home while carrying her carefully to show my parents, take some photos, and weigh her, she was 13 pounds 4 ounces and the biggest largemouth I have ever caught, after the pictures we rushed her back down to the creek and released her after we made sure she was breathing and swimming fine, so she can bring up a new generation of bass.

To date she is the biggest bass caught by anyone in my family…….Brad Conner
