Hi from Dan Barker of the Nor-Cal Trophy Hunters Bass Club. I wanted to share this picture of a 7.9 lb LM that I caught on a white jig. This fish was spawned out and released soon after a photo. I thought for a second that it would go double digit, it had the head and body, oh well give her another year. Dan Barker -
Carmichael, Ca

Caught this lbs. Rainbow trout on 5-25-02 at Lake Del Valle
using power bait by the dam.
We were going to Amador, but decided to stay more local.
Glad we went to Del Valle. Caught my limit and met some interesting
people, some with strange requests. It was a full moon day.

This is Jared Castaneda's 1st Striper that weighted in at 6 1/2 pounds. He
it caught while fishing with his dad and brother at San Luis Reservoir on
June 27, 2002. He it caught while trolling a 1/2 ounce Rat-L-Trap on 8 pound
test line. He beat his dad and brother by catching the only keeper of the
day. By the way, Jared is 2 years old!
Here is a pic of a friend of mine, Doug Baker, from New Hampshire. Before work
and school early Monday morning 5/6/02 he took his 9 1/2yr old son, Doug Jr., to
a local hole called Plug's Pond in Haverhill, NH. The father and son duo enjoyed
beautiful spring weather while waiting for an unsuspecting trout to take their
offerings. Their patience was rewarded when Doug Jr. tied into this scrappy 15"
trout on his ultra-light tackle and 4lb test line. He was using Power Eggs to
entice this beautiful 'bow. What a way to spend
the morning before school! I'm sure his pals think he is one lucky young man as
he gets his dad to take him fishing regularly, even before school...

Hi! would like to submit another photo for the picture contest or just for the photo wall. This time it is a photo of a largemouth bass that I caught in the rain. It's a pretty nice picture and the thing about it is that my buddies and I stayed on the lake all day and we all caught bass in the rain. It was pretty fun out there. I gotta admit, that was pretty "die hard" of us. Well, here's all the info for the photo: Rodney the "LIP RIPPER" of San Jose, CA - largemouth bass, 8+ lb., on LR drop shot, at Lake "A", early 2002.
A nice snook caught by Domenico Rugiero during one of our fishing expedition in Nicaragua, Precisely on San Juan river in January 2002. Photo sent by Philippe Tisseaux, San Carlos Sportfishing, http://www.marine- electronics.net/tropicalfishing/.
This is what happens when you go to Shaver for four hours, you get stuck with all of these fish!! We also caught and released about 20 more. Jim Boswell and Captain Jack Yandell were using Boswell's Kokanee Special rod, Double Jack blades, pink, orange and green Fat Bugs and Jacks new six shooter. The fishing is still awesome!
Dear Fishsniffer,

Howdy,
Here is a photo of my friend William Wilson of Corona, CA,
who caught the opening day 2002 derby winning fish, a 5lb 7oz

took red/white powerbait on 2lb line. Submitted by Gerad Miranda.
Here is a photo taken on April 29th, 2002 of my son, 7 year old Dalton Tupen holding a 9.5lbs Largemouth Bass taken by Dalton's dad, Rich Tupen, at a local pond in Elk Grove. The fish was weighted and released back into the pond to be caught another day.
