Near rock wall in Oakland by the airport, Bryan caught this unusual guitar fish and released it. All of my years fishing the bay I have never seen one. Cool. Photo submitted by Darren Martinez

This beauty was caught in Seiku, WA-30 Pound King Salmon using a Coyote Spoon and a Green Flasher on 7/31/05 at 7am. Caught just 1/2 mile off shore near the "Green Can" in remote Seiku, WA in 200 feet of water on a downrigger 60 feet down. This was the largest King brought to the dock that weekend. Fishing is very slow this year especially for Kings so we were very lucky!
Warm Regards,

I have always been afraid of adding too large of a trailer to my spinner
baits, or using large lures until today, 07/31/05. I had caught about a 1/2
lbs striper and was reeling it in when a 3.5 lbs hit my line.
Thank you, Andy

Went to Burney to catch some trout after the ocean was not fishable for so many weekends. Drove six hunred miles to fish for 10 minutes to get my limits of nice fish. One 19 1/2" and two 18" brook trout. Best catch for trout ever. Thanks, Richard Huhn

We went out 7/15/05 on the party boat "Hog Heaven" out of Sausalito. Late in the day I caught a 31 pounder on a Purple Haze Apex. It fought me for about a half an hour, taking me up and down the boat, taking me through the paces. Thanks, Martin Rabello, San Leandro

Hi,
My brother Ryan and I caught these three nice Halibut aboard Flash Fishing
with Captain Steve Talmitch. We landed these guys along Alcatraz. The
morning tide produced some nice fish to 25lbs. What a great day on the bay!
Thanks, Shawn P. O'Connell

Hi,
On July 10th my son Daniel and I chartered Tahoe Angler Sportfishing for a
morning of Mackinaw action. We were eager for my son to catch his first fish
from the lake. Boy, did he ever get lucky. The morning started off slow as
the wind reeked havoc on the drift. As the morning persisted the winds
calmed and the fish became active. We limited out with four nice Mac's to
18lbs. Attached is a photo of my son and his 34 inch 18lb hog caught in 215
feet of water just off King's Beach on Tahoe's North Shore. Cheers! Shawn P. O'Connell
