    Fishing Notes:
  • GERMAN BROWN TROUT are the main trout species found in Beardsley. The DFG stocks subcatchable browns every year to provide a "put and grow" fishery. Troll Goldeneyes, Sparklefish, Needlefish, Rebels, Rapalas and other minnow imitation lures from spring through fall.
  • RAINBOW TROUT are also planted as catchables during the spring and summer months. Troll nightcrawlers behind flashers and a variety of lures for recent planters and holdovers. Bank fishing can be good at times for anglers using Power Bait, nightcrawlers and spinners.
