9/25 BIG Redears and More Gills

My parents wanted to get into some of the panfish action so we met up with our friend Bill Arisman and headed out of Mossdale once again. We fished from about 7:30am - 4:30pm and filled a 48qt cooler with more big slabs. My mom and dad each caught a BIG Redear to add to the pile. All the fish were caught on red or wax worms and were near or on the bottom.

Just so you guys don't get the wrong idea, we don't waste anything we kill. My family has been eating these about twice a week and my folks took about 50 which is about 4-5 dinners for them. Bill has 6 people in his family and it takes quite a few to make a meal even at the size they were running.

Buddy, no one will tell you where they were fishing. Besides, there are no spot burning on here. You are better off finding gills yourself. Hope that didn't sound too harsh for ya. Grin
