Fished Almanor with my son starting in the pennisula area
Tues evening first fish was 22" 4+ pound RB, followed by two more RB and one brown, about 2-3 pounds.
Wed morning only a couple small fish 1 RB, 1 Brown.
Wed evening one nice RB 3+ pound.

Move down by dam area. Red and gold lures.
Thur morning 6 RB 1 Brown, good fish 2 to 3.5 pounds.
Thur evening 1 RB and a huge hooked jaw Brown, 6 pounds.
Fri morn 5 RB and 2 Browns 2 to 3 pounds.
Released all but 2 RB. One that we caught on a worm, ate there, and one to bring home.






The big brown was caught on red gold speedy shiner at 35'.
He put up a great fight, about 20 minutes, released to grow to 10 pounds. A closer pic
