I think we bought the whole store that day!
Anyway, The lure I think Jake is talking about is called the fishskin jig. Its about 4 inches long and this one is white.
Another is Big eye bucktail jig.
Thats all I'm giving up, Ha Ha!
Hope everyone including us has a stellar fishing trip up there!
We will be in our 17ft fisher, Girl with pink Del Valle hat on.
Gotta get packing!

Yeah thats trick. use your depth finder to locate the deep creek channel and drop to the bottom then reel up a foot or two and pop the jig. I like to turn the boat sideways to the wind and jig off the windward side so all can fish. Reel up at times and drop again due to the depth varying often there. If you get a hit motor back up wind and do it again. And yes they will hit it on the way down. Some scent on the jig or maybe a crawdad tail on the hook would be a bonus ! Good luck all and please show us pics.
