SORRY FOR THE LATE REPORT!

Fishonfarmer and I headed out of Pittsburg to the cuts for some sturgeon Stingen! We started in the mouth of little cut but with the wind blowing it was almost impossible to see a bite! WP Angler was going to come out with us and fish for a bit but I decided to call it quits! The wind was blowing us everywhere and Gian was getting cold! Gian asked if I could give it one more try and ram the boat in the bushes so I gave it a shot and it paid off! We had ghost and Grass and Some Captn kev stingem series Leaders and Scent. Gian got the first hit with in minutes a 33' and 7 minutes later 30' then another 28... I was getting pumped knowing that one of us were going to get a keeper! So I decided to use grass with shrimp scent like Gian was and then it hit I thought about damn time!!! Yeah baby fish on!!! It came in within 1 minute and didn't even fight... So we thought it was another shaker... Little that we knew that the minute if hit the top it was going to be a HAWG... It had to be around 66-72' and the second it saw the spot light it went crazy and snapped me off! Gian and I was so pumped by then it took us a bit to calm down enough to even cast! I grabbed one of my other rods put the same thing on and hooked into another hawg... This time it was a suicide hit and by the time i got the rod it jumper behind the boat and spit the hook! it was another hawg... It was crazy we had about a 45 minute window that the fish were biting and after that it was dead! We planed on fish on Sat to so we left the sturgeon grounds and headed to Berkeley for some but chasing with kev!

Looks like I have given the sturgeon a break long enough....you know...gotta give you a chance to catch a couple before I head back out..... Grin

Seriously, it should be a great year!! Got the new Capt'n Kev's Stingem Series leaders ready, all the scents are in and ready, and some more new scents coming down the line.
